Catherine Aird is the author of more than twenty crime fiction novels and several collections of short stories, most of which feature Detective Chief Inspector C. D. Sloan. She holds an honorary MA from the University of Kent and was made an MBE.

About the Narrator

Robin Bailey (1919–1999) was an English actor, perhaps most fondly remembered for his portrayal of Uncle Mort in I Didn’t Know You Cared. Bailey recorded hundreds of audiobooks to critical acclaim.
