The Reef is the story of Tate Beaumont, a beautiful young student of marine archeology - and of Matthew Lassiter, a sea-scarred young man who shares her dream of finding Anguelique's Curse, the jeweled amulet surrounded by legend and said to be long lost at the bottom of the sea.

Forced into a reluctant partnership with Matthew and his uncle, Tate soon learns that her arrogant but attractive fellow diver holds as many secrets as the sea itself. And when the truth emerges about the mysterious death of Matthew's father eight years earlier, desire - and danger - begin to rise to the surface.

True to form, Nora Roberts offers a story of grand passion and gripping adventure, bringing her devoted fans to the hidden undersea world - and to the deepest parts of the human heart. Download and start listening now!

" This didn't rock my world. It was what it was, a light hearted read. I will, however, say it did have characters with a lot of heart. They were easy to sympathise with. I recommend it for a pleasurable read, perhaps on holiday or after a particularly heavy-going book. "

" It took me awhile to get through this book. It was an okay book, but I did not find myself rushing to pick it up to read. The most interesting parts of the book were when they were diving and searching for the treasure. I found it fascinating to see how a treasure hunt actually happens. "

" I read this in a day, Nora Roberts is always easy to read. It's basically a romance with a some adventure and mystery to it. I found the baddie a bit dull to read about and the romance a bit rushed (suddenly declaring their love after not much being written about them spending time together) but it passed the time and was a good escape from the heavier reading I've been doing of late. "

" This novel gives the reader a real sense of being in the Caribbean, scuba diving along with its main characters. The plot takes place in the past, as well as the present, and has both a heart-wrenching love story and twisted mystery. "

I read it a while ago but still remember it fondly and would totally recommend it to other (most likely women) divers and non-divers who have that romantic side :) "
