" This was just not quite engaging enough for me. "

" This story was funny and witty. The characters were a breath of fresh air and always held my interest. A good read for any fan of romance novels. "

" Liked it. Had several romances going on with a cute ending. About an American Heiress out to avenge her friend by attempting to break the heart of the man who broke her friend's heart. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Virginia | 10/8/2011

" I just couldn't get into this book. Cece was manic and annoying and Jared was just too weak. I couldn't stand any of them (even the supporting characters). Perhaps the setting was too modern (1895) and I just don't care for cars, the setting, nor the characters. Pass. "

" I would have liked this better if the man she falls in love with wasn't the one who just broke her best friend's heart the previous summer. "

" Dingbat-Manic-Pixy-Heroine from Chicago meets oh-so-perfect British Lord hero in saccharine, silly romance, with too many BIG MISUNDERSTANDINGS that were just plain stupid. The only saving grace of the book are the cars. 1895 cars are cool. "
