"Terrific mystery. From Jonestown to a serial murderer to a terrorist plot, I was kept engaged. The recently widowed Dr. Patrick Bowers is trying to establish a connection with his stepdaughter. But murder keeps getting in the way of their quality time. Really well written and kept me glued to the book."

" The Pawn was an exciting, thriller! I liked the dialogue, the creepy serial killer story and the main character's personal storyline. There were a few unanswered questions and loose ends that need tying up. I will definitely be picking up the others in the series. "

" I've read 3/4 of this book. I doubt I will finish it. One star for writing reasonably coherently. The plot too preposterous to hold interest. The heroes and villains too superhuman/evil. Too much suspension of disbelieve required here for me. Quit, not going back. "

" This is a great detective thriller. Free for kindle at amazon.com. Probably will buy the series. Its listed as "Christian," but don't let that scare you off. The religion is not overt- and as a thriller, it can hold its own with just about any Times Best List. "
