"I adored this book and its characters. I probably won't continue with the series, though, because it doesn't look like it sticks with the same family, which is disappointing. I wanted to know what happened with Juanita."

" I figured it out way early on, and stuck through it just for the reveal and the wrapping up. I wasn't such a fan of this plot. The characters, yes, the plot, not so much. "

" I started this book not expecting to be riveted by the plot, character and the shear beauty of the romance. Haven't cried this much in awhile! "

" Thought it was a different book, but it was a good story. It was much racier than I like though. The story made me think of A Gown of Spanish Lace (The Janette Oke Collection) but much, much, racier. "

" I didn't much like when the outlaw and the lady were playing house. They were much better when they were on the run. And I'm still debating whether or not I liked the twist even though I saw it coming. Overall, this was an adequate lunchtime book and I'll probably read the next book in the series. "

About Lorraine Heath

Lorraine Heath always dreamed of being a writer. After graduating from the University of Texas, she wrote training manuals, press releases, articles, and computer code, but something was always missing. When she read a romance novel, she not only became hooked on the genre but quickly realized what her writing lacked: rebels, scoundrels, and rogues. She has been writing about them ever since. Her work has been recognized with numerous industry awards, including prestigious RITA from the Romance Writers of America.
