It all starts with a phone call in the middle of the night. Part time private investigator/full-time rancher Dutch Evans groggily takes a call from a woman named Sharlene who has a big problem: murder. His empty bank account, and the fact that Sharlene is the daughter of an old flame, is enough to arouse his interest, to the tune of traveling cross country and to the other side of the world in order to find complex answers to what should be a routine investigation. Before he knows it, malice and murder become the status quo for this cowboy P.I.
