"A great book. A reporter, whose column is flagging due to her inability to get real personally, finds a note written by someone to their child as their plane was going down in the ocean. The hunt to find the intended recipient of the note changes the columnist's life - showing her it is not too late in her life for real relationships. She gets a second chance."

" This was a book club selection, which we have read the book and are going to compare to the movie. The book although not my typical read wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting. The ending was a bit too much for my taste (with the notes rightful owner), but it could have been worse. I think the book does get you thinking about the relationships you have with your family and how important it is to let our family and friends know how much they mean to us. A warm and fuzzy book with a good message. "

" I enjoyed this book which is part of the Women of Faith series. The book is about healing old wounds and how we all need to do it and second chances, always good.. The author is a Christian writer without be 'in your face' about it. "

" Angela hunt did a beautiful job. The book's message parallels the love note God has written to us in HIS bible, letters that speak of forgiveness, God's care for us, and how God is waiting to welcome back those who didn't want a relationship w/ their Heavenly Father. "
