Publisher Description

The sixth volume in the award-winning Tomorrow series.

I lay there, heart still pounding from the shock of seeing the man surrender and then get killed, the shock of seeing so much blood, more blood than I'd even seen from one person before....

They are the enemy. And they're still out there. They're in your street, your home, the safest places you know. You feel their hot breath, even in the depths of hell. Ellie and Homer are out there too. Lee and Fi and Kevin. They've forgotten what it means to be safe. Sometimes they feel like there's nowhere left for them. They may be right.

"Another good book in this series. I love the narrator, she adds so much to each character. This one didn't have near as much action as the previous book did, but in a way that was nice. They didn't do anything to further the war, but they were able to take care of "The Ferrals" and again show their mettle for surviving."

" Great. Back to what we love about this book. I was hoping after the last one that this wouldn't be as big as a disappointment as the previous, but no, it is strictly in line with the beginnings of this series. Good read. Can't wait to get to the next book, the big finale! "

" I started listening to the audio book today and finished it today because I COULD NOT TURN IT OFF. When the narrator said epilogue I literally shouted "NO!" out loud because I was not ready for it to be over. I can't wait to hear the 7th book. "

" This is the one book in the series that falters slightly, when the teenagers decide to take care of a group of lost children they come across. Still, the arc of the story is good. "

" A little slower than the previous 'Tomorrow' books, not quite so 'edge of your seat' but still a great story regardless! One more to go in the series and you can be sure i'll snap it up as soon as it's released on Kindle! "

" THis book was a little different as it focused more on a grup of children that Ellie and her frineds "met" rather than the war. I quite liked it and am looking forward to the last installment in this great series. "

" The series gets better and better as it unfolds, which is remarkable given how it started. Presenting more excitement & moral choices, as well as a very clear sense of ordinary young people being forced to grow up far too quickly, the final book promises to be an amazing end to this series! " These books are amazing! Unlike many series, which slowly get worse as the storyline progresses, the 'Tomorrow' books are always full of suspense and entertainment. Each book is as good as the last, if not even better! The Night is for Hunting is no exception! "

" Well, I read it, because I wanted to finish the series, but this one didn't have the same level of interest compared with the previous books in the series. I guess I didn't really find the addition of the children as very necessary. But, six down, one to go... "

" It's incredible! I loved the ferals and Gavin. (For some reason, I've stopped thinking of him as one of the ferals. Perhaps it's because he sticks around after the rest are airlifted to New Zealand..?) "

" The sixth in the 'Tommorrow when the war began" series detailing the continuing story of a group of teenagers who are caught up in an invasion of their country. The complex relationships in which they find themselves, as well as their struggle for survival, make for a gripping read. "

" I love war books but after 7 of these Tomorrow books things start to get repetitive. That said, I still went ahead and read the all the Ellie Chronicles. "
