    " I thought this book was very slow in the beginning. I was over half through before it really picked up much for me. The ending was better but not sure I would really recommend the book to anyone. "

    " Familiar formula: city girl goes home to the country for family urgency and is torn between two worlds. The characters seemed like caricatures. Very obvious fore-shadowing and hardly any 'grab' for me to finish, except to be done with it. "
