"Excellent material for any man who either (1) feels a need to "keep up with the Joneses" or (2) feels working 24/7 is the right idea. Author describes the problems well, and offers thought provoking discussion. My Men's group at church is doing a study on this book."

" seriously, i've been reading this book forever. no, really. it's alright, but i don't think it's as profound as everyone else seems to think. just read your Bible, and you can see where he's coming from. morley also seems a little pious and judgemental sometimes, which i find annoying. "

" Like many devotional books, this is a collection of short essays. It is not really written in devotional style, though; Morley seems to have thought of it as a more cohesive work than it really is. But it's useful for men's groups and that sort of thing, and it contains a lot of good quotations. "

" This book was given to the men in church quite some time ago for fathers day. I couldn't resist. It was an exelent read and gave perspective of the plight of men. Although this book was written for men I was quite familiar with many of the 24 problems that men face. "

" Interesting perspective - it gives a good idea as to how men think which is, unsurprisingly, somewhat differently than women. It is a challenge to men to be more Scriptural in their thinking on prioritizing in their lives, finances, etc. "
