In each of the six guided programs included here, Dr. Selhub combines vivid imagery, breathing techniques, and her own proven processes to masterfully bring listeners to a place where they can let go of tensions and apprehensions and embrace love, balance, and joy. This shift is actually correlated with a change in physiology called the Love Response, in which blood pressure drops, pulse slows, muscles relax, and levels of stress hormones normalize.

These programs use the same techniques that Dr. Selhub uses with patients every day in her Integrative Medicine Clinic and at the Henry Benson Institute for Mind/Body Medicine.

Listener Opinions

" What I got from this book is that fear is the one thing that keeps us from feeling love and giving love most often. A good reminder to get control - which she has lots of suggestions for - of your daily fears. "

" Good information with case examples of working through the process and exercises for your own self healing journey. Was able to attend a lecture and workshop lead by the author. Excellent. "

" I saw her in Falls Church on 3/1/09. Unfortunately, the book presentation is opposite of my philosophy of the positive. Had it been written in the voice of someone like Louise Hay, I would have been able to read the book rather than ending in in the first chapter or so. "

" Very informative and provided some great tools for dealing with stressful situations and anxiety. "

" Just enough medical info for you to understand that she knows what she's talking about but not enough to numb the mind with boredom. I got some good tips and am generally glad I read it (OK, read the first 4 chapters, then skimmed the rest). "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Any Length | 4/28/2011

" This is an amazing book. Read it. It heals. Give yourself a chance; listen, do the exercises and let the healing start. Even if you only learn to say "I have enough, I am enough" it will have been worth it. "
