Publisher Description

The Bible is rich in stories children can appreciate and enjoy, and The Lion Children's Bible retells them in a clear and simple way. In this second volume, all the important stories from the New Testament are included, from the life of Jesus to Paul's shipwreck and arrival in Rome. The stories follow the order of events, keeping closely to the 'one story' of God and his people which the Bible's many books relate.

" Stories are greatly edited from the original including additional fictional details and omissions of critical parts of the stories. For example the Creation is covered in 8 sentences with no mention of the days or Sabbath and then a page and a half covers Eve eating the fruit. "
