Publisher Description

Osama bin Laden is dead. Saddam Hussein is buried. Baghdad lies in ruins.

Now the eyes of the world are on Jerusalem as Jon Bennett—a Wall Street strategist turned senior White House advisor—his beautiful CIA partner Erin McCoy and the U.S. Secretary of State arrive in the Middle East to meet with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

On the table: a dramatic and potentially historic Arab-Israeli peace plan, of which Bennett is the chief architect. At the heart of the proposed treaty is the discovery of black gold deep underneath the Mediterranean—a vast and spectacular tract of oil and natural gas that could offer unprecedented riches for every Muslim, Christian, and Jew in Israel and Palestine.

With the international media closely tracking the story, the American message is as daring as it is direct: Both sides must put behind them centuries of bitter, violent hostilities to sign a peace treaty. Both sides must truly cooperate on drilling, pumping, refining, and shipping the newly found petroleum. Both sides must work together to develop a dynamic, new, integrated economy to take advantage of the stunning opportunity. Then—and only then—the United States will help underwrite the billions of dollars of venture capital needed to turn the dream into reality.

"He gets 5 stars, because of the amazing predictions he gave in it. This is book 2 in a series of fictional political thrillers that are so amazingly current on the U.S. relations in the Middle East, that events seem to be almost foretold. He wrote this and Yassar Arafat dies in it...he died shortly afterward. In book one, he writes about a terrorist attack on the U.S. The book was finished before 9/11/02, but came out in print 11/02. Eerie and intelligent story. I can't wait to read book 3. It jumps right into action. The characters are great. It reads quickly."

" Like the first book, this one was a page turner and I cannot put down. Based on the conflicts in the middle east, but including a good plot, story line and even a love story it has everything from adventure, to romance, to history to edge-of-your seat suspense for what will happen next! "

" Tom Clancyesque writing, but in a Christian context. Centers around current events. Takes place in 2010, but written just before 9/11 and eerily accurate. Good book. Better than The Last Jihad! "

" This is a slap-dash spy thriller. The quality of writing is a little low, but the basic story line is good and it has a current year setting in the Middle East. I enjoyed it. But be warned that the character development is pretty shallow. "
