Deep in the shadowy foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains lies a dying town....

My name is Amelia Gray. They call me The Graveyard Queen. I've been commissioned to restore an old cemetery in Asher Falls, South Carolina, but I'm coming to think I have another purpose here.

Why is there a cemetery at the bottom of Bell Lake? Why am I drawn time and again to a hidden grave I've discovered in the woods? Something is eating away at the soul of this town - this withering kingdom - and it will only be restored if I can uncover the truth.

" As usual, i had goosebumps while reading this. The word building was so dramatic, suspenseful and creepy. But I kinda guessed from the very start that how Amelia is connected to that ghost town. I was just waiting for the reveal and got a bit impatient. "

" I really love this series; there is just as much otherworldly suspense as a Stephen King novel, in a completely different manner. I won't spoil it for anyone reading the series, but there were definitely lots of twists in this installment! Can't wait to move on to Graveyard Queen #3. "

" This book was great! All the Graveyard Queen Series were wonderful! I didn't want them to end!!!! "

" Another downright winner from Amanda Stevens. With her coming from the world of romance writing and crossing over to suspence/romantic-suspense, IMHO, Ms. Stevens is a master of using romance as a support to an excellent, masterly crafted storyline versus using romance as a prop for mediocre, or worse, subpar writing, as many of her contemporaries in her genre do. I always know if I grab one of her books, especially recent ones, I am always in for a high quality and engrossing read. "

" I think Amelia's origins were telegraphed far in advance in this book, at least regarding her father and mother, though I didn't see her maternal grandparent coming at all. Loved Angus. Not sure about the book though. It is a different style of writing. Southern gothic. "

" Well I think I figured out everything that was going to happen in this book around the 50% mark... But I still enjoyed it... It has everything you need for a spooky fun Halloween read.. Ghosts, witches, demons, stalkers, unsolved murder, scary woods, mountain folklore, creepy family... etc etc "

" 3.5... The Restorer had all the intenisity this book did not. There were too many telling clues set in stereotypical small town. There are a couple of surpises. "

" This is an amazing series. I've had an affinity for old cemeteries since we lived in Virginia. They're fascinating place. Amelia, the main character, appeals to me on many levels. The story kept me interested throughout the book and the setting was good and creepy! I'm ready for her next one. "

" I think this was one of my favorites of the series so far...it strays a little bit from the original story and characters but you learn so much about the main character Ameila's background that makes the rest of the stories mean more. Great series! "
