" Read this a few years ago, I loved it the way he plots his stories, having read a few more of his books since I realise he always does this. "

" Never have so many coincidences combined in one book to create one totally implausible story. I found the novel highly readable, and enjoyable. The characters were however all rather odd - the manic movie critic who never sleeps, the love lorn puppy who changes sex to attract the lesbian girl of his dreams, the nutty psychiatrist - and I laughed out loud several times. The mis-edited movie magazine article was brilliant! "

" I really liked this book, it was well written and neat. Every bit of the plot was there for a reason and tied together with something else but without feeling forced. Gave the impression of a very balanced and well thought out novel. "
