On New Year's Day, 1976, radio listeners were introduced for the first time to a former Chicago cop turned hard-luck private detective named Harry Nile, the brainchild of mystery fan Jim French, who created the 1950s-era character for a one-time-only broadcast. But audiences wanted more, and so began 26 years of episodes featuring Phil Harper as Harry.
Here are 24 of Harry Nile's cases from August 1952 to winter 1954. These are full-cast audio dramatizations.

"I listen to radio stories frequently. This History of Harry Nile is one of the best I have heard which includes old time radio and more recent stories such as the Mutual Radio Theater. I would like to give it more than 5 stars."
