" I liked the other Robert Wilson book I read, so got this from the library. Well written, complex plot of terrorists in Spain and Morocco. Nicely done but it was a bit convoluted and the primary character's private life kept intervening. Okay, but I've probably had my fill now... "

" A good thriller. Reminded me a bit of the Millenium trilogy...lots of characters and different things going on. Apparently it's part of a series, so I'll have to read more...hint, hint, Ralph. :) "

" I enjoyed the previous two books in the Javier Falcon series much more than this one. The terrorist plots in this one had so much backstory that the book seemed to plod along unfortunately. Hope that Wilson returns to form in the fourth. "

" I'm sorry but throughout the book you were wondering, then at the end he gives a synopsis, it was rather irritating. "

" Wilson writes well and produces thrillers which excite and live with you . "

" The Javier Falcon series of murder mysteries are a treat for people who like a well written and fully-fleshed set of characters. Each book in the series is a gem - and stands on its own merits. "

" Pretty good book. A bit too many sub-plots that didn't really mean much to the story. Perhaps to set up things for future novels in the series? "
-

Ross Whamond | 7/27/2012
" Another one to follow now.Fairly rattles along with enough sub plots to keep you guessing. "

Bob Bauer | 5/9/2012
" Outstanding tale with great plot twists and turns. Good cooemntary on nature of terrorism and deeper commentary on fanatacism. "

" This would have got 5 stars but I don't like Consuelo and thought her part in the story was stupid. "

Hapzydeco | 9/15/2011
" Set in Seville and its multiple sub-plots made it an obscure read. But the author knows his terrorism. "
-

" Best so far of WIlson's Javier Falcon reads. Terrorism, so real today, is the feature of this novel. It is interesting to read novel series where the characters continue book to book. Keeps one guessing how they will progress in the future and when and how the writer chooses to 'terminate' them. "

" Brilliant storyline, powerfully told and incorporates everyone's perspective, against the backdrop of ordinary everyday life events as well. Should be made into a film superb. "

" Rob....
Interesting plot but too much added details about site, persons, painting, what ever
"

" En fait, c'est après les 200 premières pages que ça commence à devenir intéressant.
Bon, y a pas de quoi se relever la nuit, non plus.
