"This book totally made me cry. Its the second one of my porn novels that have. The first one was Julia Londons Book of Scandal. It was just too much to read about the funeral. But this one was about how he saved all those kids!!! How many people would do that? Incredible! "

" Having read the first book in this series I was a little surprised by the ending. You know how this works--problem comes up, boy doesn't love girl but now girl is in trouble, boy saves girl and realizes he loves her. I guess that sort of happened but it wasn't much of a problem. Maybe the next one will be a little more exciting at the end. "

" I liked Sophie. She was abused by an uncle that used her for his own gain and still had backbone. She had issues with trust, which is understandable, but no simpering miss here. Ryder has a huge heart but hides it with his rakish persona. He doesn't want anyone knowing the truth, not even his family. When they marry, Sophie learns his secret and I think that is one thing that brought her into trusting again. This is a story of betrayal, pain, and the love that comes to them both as they learn to trust. "

" forgot to update - don't exactly remember what I thought of this book - again about a previous era and the "taming of the shrew" as I saw it - man falls in love and has to deal with his independant wife. best part is the few funnies - usually 1 liners thrown in by the younger sister. "

" This is a sorry excuse for a romance novel. First half was good but after that story was stretched out...there was no any mutual attraction, chemistry or any sign of love between H and h!!! and why was the heroine so cold through out the book...???..total turn off for me... "

" Ryder is my favourite Sherbrooke. He's a good guy. Not only is he a caring guy, he has humility, something his brother, Douglas will never possess. Sophia is a good match for Ryder. This story was fun with the misunderstanding and ends in a happily ever after. Enjoyable. "
