Publisher Description

Dear Listener, Welcome to the exciting conclusion of the English Regency Bride Trilogy, The Heiress Bride. You met Sinjun Sherbrooke (in The Sherbrooke Bride and in The Hellion Bride), a delightful, quite endearing 15-year-old who, I hope, charmed your socks off. Now she's 19, blessed with Sherbrooke blue eyes, wit to burn, and a wonderful sense of humor. She is also bored with the London Season, until she spies Colin Kinross, the Scottish earl of Ashburnham, across the dance floor at a London ball. When she overhears Colin complain that he must find a wealthy bride quickly in order to survive, Sinjun promptly introduces herself as the answer to his prayers. Despite all odds, Sinjun manages an elopement to Scotland to begin her life in a drafty old castle that holds more revelations and surprises than Sinjun could ever imagine. You'll also meet another ghost, Pearlin' Jane, who teams up with the Virgin Bride.Do enjoy Sinjun. She's one hell of a bride. --Catherine Coulter

" After having read the first two in this series, I felt compelled to keep reading on. I loved the heroine at the beginning, and in the other books. It seemed as though halfway through the story, her personality changed, and she went from being a brave heiress, to a scared school girl. Thankfully this didn't last, and near the end of the book, she was herself again. Didn't care much for the plot, and there were not a lot of steamy scenes until near the end. In fact, in most of the love scenes in this book, the heroine is in pain and not enjoying them. Not my cup of tea. All in all, a decent read, I liked some parts more than others, but not one that I see myself reading again any time soon. "

" silly plot and the interpersonal plot line did not interest me nearly as much as the other two previous in the series. About a woman who falls in love at first sight to a man who wants to marry for money who after about 2 weeks and annoying behavior from his new wife, falls in love of course. "

" Sinjun is hilarious. I love her. She's a great character in the Sherbrooke family. Her love for Colin is amazing. The things Sinjun suffers at his hands and his family is horrible. I'm glad she's able to stick it out. There were several times I wanted to smack Colin. Insensitive jerk! Still, it all ended well and her protective brothers showed up which made the story quite amusing. Recommended to historical romance lovers. "
