The Gumby Gang - that's Steve, Debbie and Howie - are back again and in tow are the two non-members, four-year-old Bet and Buster the dog.
At one of their regular meetings it is decided they should go camping. After everything that could go wrong, does go wrong, they end up wishing that they'd gone to the First Aid demonstration instead! And then at another meeting on the old houseboat, Gumby II, they lose their mooring and start to drift down the river...
