" The interesting and quirky style of Robert Jordan is preserved brilliantly. Kudos to Brandon Sanderson. Of course the story is long but the story is definitely coming together for the grand finale! "

" Sanderson manages to keep almost the same style and tone as Jordan, with one exception: from time to time the humor is characteristically un-Jordan-like, and it makes me jump out of the story. Still, a great book that makes me hopeful for the reminder of the series. "

" Fantastic! One of the greatest epic fantasy series ever, and Brandon Sanderson did an amazing job of picking up the story. Faster paced than the last few Robert Jordan wrote, and concentrated on plot lines that were mostly resolved at the end. "
