" i hated this book so much that i could only read about 15 pages of it. like a movie that's so bad, you have to walk out of the theater. "

" An essential guide and handbook for anyone brave enough to look into the mirror and admit that they are a sexual being, they actually love their body and enjoy sex. A shockingly wonderful read, don't let the briefness of this deter you from the quality. "

" I still blanch at the word "slut", but this is a basic polyamory primer that anyone who is interested in multiple sexual relationships should read. "

" While it offers up solid common sense advice, the book itself is poorly written which hinders overall readability. I enjoyed flipping through and pulling out interesting or thought-provoking sections but it was hard to read straight-through because of the distracting grammar. This was particularly disconcerting because I read the 2nd edition and one would hope editors would have fixed it up a bit more. "

" I must read for people who don't fit into the traditional monogamy paradgm and for those interested in learning about navigating the waters of sexual liberation. "

" Read through this on someone's roof in Champaign-Urbana, nodded my head a couple of times; it's not scintillating with the brilliance of revelation to those who are accustomed to thinking openly, or are able to see truth in thinking from various perspectives. It does do its somewhat ambiguously-termed job of opening up a pathway for considering the essence of relationships in an entirely different light than our cultural norm, and I can optimistically see this as a jumping-off point for nuanced readers to pursue more generally humanistic texts. " Pretty much the whole idea of having open relationships or deciding to be celibate is that you're open and honest with yourself and your partners. Don't be embarrassed or shy to speak your mind yet treat all your partners and lovers with respect. "
