When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician - every adult - fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused, and hungry.

Only children under 14 remain whole, and they're fighting to survive.

Now there are rumours of a safe place to hide. And so a gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city - down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground - the grown-ups lie in wait.

But can they make it there - alive? Download and start listening now!

" This was a really great book. It took place in London in the aftermath of a disease that turned everyone above 16 into kid-crunching zombies. There are many groups of kids all under the age of 16 all over London surviving and fighting of the "grown-ups". I would recommend this book to most people. "

" I just read this-- I knew about it for awhile, but I thought it sounded too much like a zombified version of Michael Grant's Gone series at the time, and considering I had just bought the third book, I decided to cool it. But upon reading it I really, really liked this book and recommend it to any fans of the series. It's a fun, fast-paced ride- though if you're looking for a surge of brilliance, keep looking. "

" Grif's legitimately reading this right now. It's pretty good, no Maze Runner, but still not so bad. Good spin on the zombie theme, and great insight into a child's psyche during harrowing times. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Alex | 6/8/2011

" It was pretty good. There were parts that weren't explained, like the ending. I was really confused with the last chapter. There were a lot of deaths that made me sad.
Pretty enertaing, I'd recommend it to people who don't get squeamish when there's guts involved. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Liam | 6/1/2011

" Awsome book! But Charlie higson kills off the characters as fast as he introduces them still it's one of my faves "
