"The works of Edgar Allen Poe read by Basil Rathbone and Vincent Price. VINCENT PRICE, PEOPLE! I grew up watching those old Hammer Horror Poe adaptations starring Price, so hearing that voice immediately takes me back to Saturday afternoons when I was 8. "

" I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't nearly as many stories read by Vincent Price as there was by Basil Rathbone. I love Price and Poe, which is why I bought the audio book. Still great to hear Vincent's voice reading this classic tales. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. "

" B-O-R-I-N-G. I couldn't even make it through the first story, it was so boring to me. I might try again at a different time, but not anytime soon. "

" While interesting to hear the stories read by Basil Rathbone and Vincent Price, they don't even say the names of the stories or poems before being read (although you can guess what most of them are even if you've never read Poe before). Some of them are really, really creepy. "

" Poe stories as read by Vincent Price and Basil Rathbone. The Vincent Price stories are magnificent, while the Rathbone portion is just good. Lovers of Poe will enjoy this audio set a great deal. "
