There was a crashing sound from the bushes. I spun round, wondering if this was my death, the last movement I would even make, the last sight I would see....

Their families are facing death at the hands of a merciless enemy. But one group of teenagers, fugitives in a remote valley, will never give in. Not without a fight. " I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. This was a pretty good book - I liked it a bit better than the first book. I don't know why, but I haven't really connnected with any of these characters. I will definitely finish reading the series though. "

" Wow. This book took the series from a fun read that skimmed the surface of some complicated issues into a whole new realm. It became really intense! I cried. Seriously. Need to slow down now and pace myself with the next ones. "

" Not as good as the first book, however it still managed to keep me on my toes none the less. Some popular characters do die in this book. Nothing extrordinary happened in the book other than some of the main characters dying though. Perhaps it's a book you need to re-read to really get into it. "

" This book was amazing! It is generally for boys that are trying to get into reading (of course not me because I love to read), and are a bunch of short stories that involve authors sharing stories from their childhood. "
