"Oh how I love this series! The Skyhawk sisters are some of my favorite characters, so having a whole book focused on Kaia and the Harpy games was like dream come true. Showalter does such a great job of writing smart, funny, kick-ass women who have friendships and relationships beyond the romance. For me the Lords are all slightly interchangable boy toys with demon issues. It's the women that really drive the series. They are unique and multi-dimensional. It's such a refreshing change from the romance genera, where the women are typically vapid Barbies. Although make no mistake, this is a romance novel with several very racy bits. The only thing that could have made this better was more Anya. Her brief appearance was laugh out loud funny." — Anna (4 out of 5 stars)

" Its between a 4 and a 4.5 I think - I was sooooo looking forward to this book, there were a couple of times i thought it lacked a bit from the others in the series - but even then it's still so much better then others of the genre out there - Having said that there were a lot more sections in the book that were fantastic, its left me soooo wanting more and I cant wait until we get to heat Paris' story in the next in the series. "
" At first I liked it and thought it was gonna be great. But then it got a bit boring. I didn't like Kaia and Strider's chemistry. "
" Loved Strider and Kaia! Another fabulous installment! "
" Absolutely awesome. I love this series :) "
" I want a LORD!! They are just so yummy and strong! I'm so glad strider got with the last sister harpy! They make a perfect couple. Now on to Paris story! "
" The story jumped around, A LOT, between William, Kane, Paris, etc. And it focused more on Kaia and the Harpy games. "
" It was ok; could have been better "
" Got to love the warriors! "
" WOW... enough said. However as a side note, I sometimes revert back to this book to get reacquainted with defeat. HOT! "
" I love a good Harpy story! "
" A good story but there is a needless story arc about Paris and his search for his long lost love which does not end in the book. I guess the next book will be about that. It felt too much like an infomercial about the next book instead of a teaser into the next book. "
" Hmmmmm don't think I would be doing this book justice unless I say.....it was made of AWESOME!!! I laughed so many times. It was pure entertainment, if you haven't read it yet you should do so! "
" Strider and Kaia are my favorite couple! Hilarious! The harpys remind me of the valkyries in the IAD series. Love them! "
