Reyes is a man possessed. Bound by the demon of pain, he is forbidden to know pleasure. Yet he craves a mortal woman, Danika Ford, more than breath and will do anything to claim her - even defy the gods.

Danika is on the run. For months she's eluded the Lords of the Underworld, immortal warriors who won't rest until she and her family have been destroyed. But her dreams are haunted by Reyes, the warrior whose searing touch she can't forget. Yet a future together could mean death to all they both hold dear.

"This book was a really quick and fun read with about an equal part smut and storyline. I thought I'd have to quit these books because there was actually a chapter where it was from the bad guys POV, but it was only one, and the rest of the book made up for it. These books are great! :-)"

" I liked this story better than the last one, it wasn't as good as I hoped. It was just so slow moving; it needed more action. I liked the relationship between Reyes and Danika, though there were some "eww" moments at time. I felt so bad for Paris and wonder what's going to happen with him. The mythology is very good in this series and is the main reason I am going to continue reading it. "

" I was very much into this series by the time I got to this one. Not my favorite, but not bad at all. I very much enjoyed this guilty pleasure read. "

" This is the final book in the Lords of the Underworld Trilogy. And it tells the tale of Danika and Reeves, whose curse is the demon of pain. As with the other books in this series, I liked the story and seeing how the other characters, and their relationships, turned out. I especially liked how the author created a strong, independent heroine; and continued to follow Reeves's struggle with his loyalty to his friends versus his loyalty to Danika. I liked this story better than the second book, but think the first is still my favorite. The only thing that dissapointed me was the ending. Although I liked the main characters ending, I felt the author left a lot of loose ends with the story and its characters. For example, do the warriors find the artifacts? And what about the other characters- Paris, etc. I hope the author will decide to continue this series in some way. As for recommending this book, my thought it to remind readers it catagorized as a paranormal romance genre, and may not be for everyone. For those who are fans of this genre, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised. "

" Maybe I'm just getting used to it, but it seems like this installment spent more time with other characters in the story which made it a little less upsetting whenever we changed to a new character. (I'm VERY intrigued by Paris' story line and will continue to read until his story comes out, at least!) As the third book in a series of at least twelve, I'm a little tired of the brooding, over possessive demon meets completely understanding, forgiving and cherish-able female plot line, but for a steamy summer read it served it's purpose! Again the balance between the two main characters and the plot exposition for the side characters was much better than the first two books and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to Aeron and Paris! " I love it. I don't get what everyone was talking about when they where saying that, "there is some big surprise at the end." i had already figure that out from half way in the book. For me this is the best book in the series. "
