About the Author

Barry Richert is a film/theater journalist, playwright, and screenwriter from Chicago. He was a regular writer of the Twilight Zone radio dramas for several years, adapting episodes of the original television series for radio as well as developing original stories.

About the Narrators

Malcolm McDowell has been a part of the acting world for more than four decades and has more than one hundred films under his belt. Best known for playing villains, he has become one of America’s greatest actors, though he hails from England.

Calvin Trillin has been a staff writer at the New Yorker since 1963. He is the author of thirty books. His nonfiction includes Jackson, 1964; About Alice; and Remembering Denny. His humor writing includes books of political verse, comic novels, books on eating, and children’s poetry. In 2012, he was awarded the Thurber Prize for American Humor for Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin: Forty Years of Funny Stuff. In 2013, he was inducted into the New York Writers Hall of Fame.
