Change the way you think about leadership. At the age of 33, Dr. Albert Mohler became the youngest president in the 153-year history of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was the driving force behind the school's transformation into a thriving institution with an international reputation characterized by a passionate conviction for truth. In the process, he became one of the most important and prominent Christian voices in contemporary culture.

What will it take to transform your leadership? Effective leaders need more than administrative skills and vision. They need to be able to change the hearts and minds of those they lead. Leadership like this requires passionate beliefs that can stand up to pressure from outside and within. Now, for the first time, Dr. Mohler reveals 25 principles to crystallize your convictions, while revolutionizing your thinking, your decision making, your communication, and ultimately those you lead.

" Excellent, a unique and refreshing work on the subject of leadership from a writer who has lived every word of the message contained. "

" Dr. Mohler has written a gem here. I have read other leadership books before and been helped, but I have never come away from one so convinced that I need to read it again with a pen in hand. This book does not only warrant my closer attention, is needs to be applied in my ministry. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Lucas Bradburn | 2/4/2014

" The best leadership book that I have ever read. Dr. Mohler really "gets" leadership. This is an excellent book; must reading for all who are leaders or who aspire to be leaders! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jesse | 2/3/2014

" I think this is a great book. There are things he mentions that I would never have expected to be important to leadership (like a sense of humor) or takes things that knew were important but hadn't thought of in certain ways (reading). I would say the one weakness would be that it is more weighted for those who have the desire/passion to lead without the solid foundation of conviction, whereas he doesn't address as much those who have the conviction, but aren't really doing anything. Definitely a solid book on leadership, and one that goes beyond the simple pragmatism of many books in the leadership genre. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Guy Lancour | 2/1/2014

" One of the Best books on leadership. Short enough chapters to,really dwell richly on them but not so,short that it seems trite. Well done. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 John | 1/21/2014

" Easily 5 stars. The best book on leadership I've ever read. Not only did this book encourage me to have strong convictions but each chapter CONVICTED me to go out and improve on my leadership. There were numerous times when I read a section and then promptly put the book down to go do something to improve my leadership. That's what a non-fiction book is supposed to do! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Dwayne Smith | 1/19/2014

" I have read many books on leadership including most of John Maxwells and this is by far the best and most practical. His chapters on reading, writing, and leaving a legacy have truly changed and impacted my life and way of thinking. This book should be required reading for any seminary student, pastor and a member of his staff. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jonathan Seger | 1/11/2014

" Best book on leadership I've read to date. It exudes years of experience & accumulated wisdom. Furthermore, aside from Grudem's Systematic Theology, it's the most readable books I've ever read. Mohler did a fantastic job laying out the chapters or this book. Makes it easy for me to refer back to it often and find what I'm looking for. "

" I'm from Louisville, Ky so reading something by Albert Mohler is kind of fun. Leadership is a great topic and as much as it is talked about, I really think this one breathes new light into it. Its fairly good, if only just a bit repetitive. The wisdom is still found there. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Bryce | 1/3/2014

" Great resource. Albert Mohler is more than qualified to write a book on leadership as is evidenced by his role and influence not only at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, but also in the Christian community at large. This is a book that I can see myself returning to again in the future. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Alexei | 12/18/2013

" The author is as rigid and dogmatic as the christian stuff he preaches. "If you can't speak publicly, don't be a leader." Corporate and organizational implications are somewhat solid, but he carries no credibility. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jon | 12/1/2013

" This book is brilliant. I tend to be very sceptical when it comes to leadership books but this now comes in at number two on my all time favourite leadership books. Only just beaten by J Oswald Sanders, "Spiritual Leadership". Mohler's work here is excellent. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Karel Castro | 11/9/2013

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Sam Murrell | 10/7/2013

" I have read many books on leadership, but this has to be one of the best and most motivating books on the topic that I have read, to date. Mohler is wonderful at articulating what it means to have the conviction to lead. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Bob Jensen | 9/1/2013

" I have only a third of the of the book and it is incredible. All leaders in every area of life, not just ministry, will benefit from the principles of leadership. I give it "Two Thumbs Up." More to come... "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Kenny Keahey | 3/26/2013

" Timely. Comprehensive. Inspiring. Informative. Fresh. And most of all Convicting. I highly recommend it for every leader, aspiring, growing and seasoned. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Kevin | 3/15/2013

" This is a great book! I agree wholeheartedly with his premise - that the best kind of leadership is based on convictions, especially if the convictions are based on the word of God. It's a four star for me because I think he overreaches a bit. I agree strongly with about 20 of his convictions. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Mike Berry | 2/25/2013

" Wow... What a great read. More on the importance of conviction to lead and not south about the "steps" to be a leader. Great for focusing on the big changes happening in my life right now. I'm sometimes at odds with Al's words, but this was a great book in this season of life "
