Publisher Description

The King James Version of the Holy Bible is the most influential and widely published book ever written. It has been translated into over two thousand languages and is still the world's best-selling book every year. After its original publication in 1611, the King James Bible quickly became the standard for English-speaking Protestants. Its flowing language and prose rhythm has had a profound influence on the literature of the past four hundred years.

English speakers around the world are praising this new recording of the King James Bible by British narrator Christopher Glyn, who draws on thirty-five years of experience as a Christian narrator and broadcaster to bring you this expressive reading of the King James Bible that captures the beauty and power of God's Word in easy-to-understand language.

"Trouble is people have a tendency to look at things from their own point of view, not understanding that this is not just a book but 66 books, authored by God Himself, inspiring men after His heart to pay attention to what He is saying. The theme is not for entertainment, but for instruction, for doctrine, for reproof, for correction in righteousness, so that the "man of God" may be throughly furnished unto good works" .The Word of God (Bible) states that "let God be true and every man a liar". We lie, God does not. So If you were to tell me something that was true in your life, and I call you a liar, I believe that you may get somewhat insulted. Imagine God giving us the formula for the way our by means of a free gift, and you call Him and His gift of eternal life a lie. "If you meet me and forget me, you have lost nothing, but if you meet Jesus Christ, the author of the Bible, and forget Him, you'll lose everything".nJ "

" The greatest love, action, adventure book of all time. The most epic, and you are apart of it! The story of life and how it began, the fall of mankind, and the struggle to return us to our intended state of being which is to be in fellowship with God the creator himself through faith in a man named Jesus Christ - His son. Our savior. Through Him, we are redeemed! "
