"Decided to reread this very good cozy mystery since I had not read it in over a decade. Its an enjoyable read during a rainstorm or in a snowstorm. Like all Cat Who books the characters are well written and their relationships are done in a way to make you think that its a real town. It also is a ad for another book Short and Tall Tales with a few short stories of Moose County's history. The only problem I had was that the ending felt a little rushed and the reader might be able to solve the case before Qwill and Koko but it is still sort the read."

" These are charming and fun mysteries. I went through a binge of everything in the series when I was younger, but haven't touched them since. I remember really enjoying them, though, and both liking the main character and the twists to the stories. "

" I may as well face it, I'm middle aged. I actually LIKE reading these fluffy little mysteries now. Long gone are the days and nights spent reading great meaningful works, or scaring myself silly with tales of grit and terror. Now it's cats and cozy tales of 'proper' adults and harmless hijinx. Man, and I'm not even quite 40 yet. :( "

" I've enjoyed listening to a couple of books in this series. I imagine that Pickaxe is supposed to be somewhere in Minnesota, or maybe Wisconsin, and sometimes the dialogue of the locals is a little too folksy. But I put up with it because the storyline was fun and not too involved. Great for listening while driving or walking. "

" A string of petty crime occurs around Pick-Ax and then a prominent townsperson is murdered Down Below. Only Koko would think the two cases are interrelated! Another fun, quick addition to the series. "

" If you are all wondering why I have been reading so many Cat Who Mystries, is because I can't remember the ones I have read in past years. I think I have read most of them in the nineties. They are a lot of fun. "

" The mystery was pretty transparent & was not as exciting as some of her previous books. A lot of the book had filler color stories from Moose County. But I did enjoy reading about some of the back stories anyway. "

" Another audio book. I'm trying to finish a baby afghan for a baby due in about 3 months, and I kept chooseing reading over crocheting. This seems like a decent enough compromise. And again, Koko and Yum Yum are a hoot. "
