I can easily see how American agencies are losing the war against drugs and guns and even shooting each other down south. Anyhow, an ATF undercover man Sean Ozborn, has gone missing for months in Mexico. His sudden reappearance and attitude draw suspicion and rightly so. No one's sure if he's gone off the deep end or just trying to make the biggest bust ever for Blowdown, a special ATF assignment. I still liked Iron River better and you should read that one first. "

" I wanted to like this book. I really, really wanted to. I am a huge fan of T Jeff and read everything he writes. I am just not that impressed with the Charlie Hood series and each book has gotten worse. There are some interesting characters and interesting plots, but Hood is a bore and the books seem to wander. I find myself having a difficult time staying focused on the book while I am reading it. The supernatural theme does not belong in these books. The rabies twist was pretty interesting though. Really hoping for some new Charlie Hood material soon. "
