" This is a fast paced thriller. There is little or no character development. And because secret societies are in, it includes the Masons, but only as leverage on a mentally ill marksman. It also includes a "code" used by Thomas Jefferson. And although I am usually not very good at seeing "plot twists" coming, I certainly saw this one coming. "

" I am quickly becoming a fan of Brad Meltzer. I like his books because of the historical research he does. Even though they are fiction, I learned something every time about a past event. "

" Brad Meltzer is an excellent contemporary fiction writer. He often works politics (or political settings) into his books. He did so with this book as well, while also working in some historical fiction. This book was definitely a page-turner. I would highly recommend it! "
