Publisher Description

Be an instant expert on Bond and Bluff Your Way® with the zillions of zealots of 007. No risk involved, just a sense of humour. From Bond's Lifestyle to his one-liners, and from the line to take to the link with JFK, here's the guide that gives you a licence to thrill in any company.

Extracts from the book:

On Human Bondage

James Bond is more than just a man, more even than a secret agent: James Bond is an eternal truth. To quote the Sunday Times book review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Bond is what every man would like to be, and what every woman would like between her sheets. As Bond's creator Ian Fleming himself said: The target of my books lay somewhere between the solar plexus and the upper thigh.

Bond, James Bond

It is so often the case that discussion about James Bond focuses on everything except James Bond. People yearn to talk of his cars, his gadgets, his girls, his cocktails. All of these are, of course, rich seams for the bluffer to mine. But your most precious stone, your most glittering diamond (one that is indeed forever) has to be the little-tackled -question of Bond's identity. Master this, and your bluffing will sweep all before it.

"Parts of this book are absolutely hilarious. Useful for anyone wanting to learn football from an English perspective, even those who think they understand the offside rule perfectly. A mixture of football history, rules, and basic league and cup information. "

" This book is designed for those that have not read the Fleming novels but want to pretend that they have; he got some of the basic Bond facts wrong but it is very funny though. "
