" In "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes", Sherlock and Watson are hired by the king of Bohemia to track down a wanted thief who has stolen from the king right from under his nose. I feel like this would be a better book if it were a bit easier to read. The olden time english writing style compliments the feel of the book, yet sometimes it is overwhelming. You would read a chapter and no understand a single thing you read. Aside from that, The story is intriguing and mysterious, wanting you to read on. (If you can...) The cunning yet mischievous Holmes gets himself into a bit of trouble, but as always, his incredible detective work gets him back on track. "

" ADORED. These stories just haven't dated. I love their concise telling and descriptions. Managed to guess a few outcomes but were baffled by others. Listened to the librivox recording and I can recommend it. (Even my non-bookish boyf loved these tales.) "
