" It was a slow read for me and I felt like I glossed over some passages. It just didn't hold my interest like her other books. I never really felt connected to the characters. I wasn't sure if I was suppose to like Alison. I loved The Accidental Mother and Mommy by Mistake. "

" It was a good book. It is my first by Rowan Coleman. The plot was good, but not sure how believable. I thought the ending was rushed and there were things left unfinished that I really wanted finished. I didn't feel really pulled in by the characters that I usually like to be to enjoy a book, but the kids were adorable. "

" Another typical chick-lit book set in England.....yawn. I picked it up b/c of the cover...no other reason. It was looooonnnnngggg and took me way to long to read. Some parts were good but way to drawn out. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Aimee | 1/10/2014

" Not bad chick lit. Good story--a little predictable, but not unbearably so. Well-written, style-wise. "

" I liked the accidental Mother the prequel better, but this was a very warm story which continued the adventure of the accidental mother who took unexpected custody of best friend's daughters. "

" Pretty good story about Alison and Cathy - their friendship in high school, their falling out and their reunion. A little long in spots but overall good read "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jen | 11/3/2013

" Really liked how everyone went their own ways and came back together. I could relate to how people change and how things aren't always what you think. I liked it ... Sorry there's not more - it's been awhile since I've read it. Just adding it late. "

" LOVED IT! my first book by this author. From the very first page, I found the characters easy to relate to, the storyline compelling and the writing style easy to follow! I will definitely read her other books...have already added them to my wishlist. "

" This was an interesting book about what might have been. The characters are well drawn and you feel for each of them. It left me thinking. But - I didn't feel completely invested in the story. A good premise that was entertaining, but not wonderful. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Mindy | 7/20/2013

" It was interesting, I kept reading to see what was going to happen. It wasn't a deep book and looked at relationships. Some can last through anything and some cant, and you need to take care of thoes around you that you love. "

" The title and cover caught my eye. This was a great book about friendship and what happens when a boy/man comes between the friendship. I rooted for Cathy through-out the book. I wanted to like Alison but I never really liked her, despite her name. "

" Not sure how this book got an average of 3.3 stars. It was painfully slow and boring for me with maybe a few good pages thrown in. I have no idea why I bothered to finish it, other than I actually bought it as an impulse buy at Barnes and Noble in a buy 2 get one free spree. Don't waste your time! "
