" It was predictable but still a good, light read. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jessica | 2/9/2014

" this book was just ok until around page 200, then i couldn't put it down. more 3.5 stars...... cute, fluffy continuation to "the accidental mother" "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kiki | 2/4/2014

" I like this and the one before it. I like it in the way of being a "cute" read. My only complaint is the author's not so subtle foreshadowing. I guessed the climax and whole book by page 70 something of over 300 pages. And I was right. But all in all it was a cute story. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Cindy | 1/3/2011

" Reading this for the Mommy's Day Out February Book Discussion.

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Taryn | 1/2/2011

" Fairly predictable plot, but entertaining enough to keep me reading. I found it interesting how the author could take something like the death of a mother of two young children and keep things relatively light and even funny in parts. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Amanda | 12/20/2010

" I really liked this book...until the last 100 pages. I hate when an ending ruins the whole story "

" It was definitely enjoyable and at the beginning of the book, I did not think it would end this way, so a bit surprising. BUT it was a bit slow. Not too interested in reading her other books even though this one was cute and delightful! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Pat | 9/25/2010

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Jennifer | 9/2/2010

" The Accidental Mother is typical chick-lit with no real surprises. While arguably the main character, Sophie, grows, she is still self-absorbed and shallow by the novel's end. It is a mindless, feel good read, as many chick-lit books are. "
