Publisher Description

Learn the secret of success by achieving more with less. Find out how you can tap the hidden potential of the 80/20 principle in your life.

Richard Koch is a highly successful entrepreneur and investor. His 80/20 Principle - that 80 per cent of results flow from just 20 per cent of the causes - is the one true principle of highly effective people and organizations.

In one of the decade's most original, provocative and powerful books, The 80/20 Principle shows how you can achieve much more with much less effort, time and resources, simply by concentrating on the all-important 20 per cent.

Astonishingly, though the 80/20 Principle has greatly influenced today's world, this is the first book which shows you how to use it in a systematic and practical way.

"The best book I've ever read. 20 percent of what I think/I do create 80 percent of my value. It's great. Let's focus on your "20 percent". That's your strengths, your good friends, your good environment, your good time, your good teacher..."

" I like the principle behind this book A LOT. But, I think the author extends too far and uses 80/20 a bit gratuitously. I guess it should be no surprise that reading only 20% of this book will give you 80% of the knowledge you need to apply 80/20 in your own work/life! "

" This was a nice book. Koch is insightful and bold in his application of Vilfredo Pareto's study of wealth distributions in society. I have heard about Pareto efficiency, Pareto charts, and the 80/20 principle ever since college. However, the novelty here is Koch's attempt to really get outside of the typical business uses of Pareto analysis. I enjoyed the book quite a lot, and look forward to noodling on the ideas for some time until I've squeezed as much of the 'trivial many' things out of my life. "
