"Well, for a not penultamite book, Linda Sue Park sure made it hyped up to be (compliment) with the reveal of the Man in Black. Whenever he shows up, I get the fleeting feeling I'm watching a bad spy movie. But I disgress. The history of Anne Bonny is an interesing one, and with the discovery of silk as one of the 39 clues, things are definetly heating up. At the time of this review, Trust No One has not yet been published. So I hope Linda Sue Park will hype it up to be penultamite...and actually have it be the penultamite book." — Harrison (4 out of 5 stars)

" This was one of the better books in the series. "
" Another solid read in the series. And it definitely moves the series forward... "
" it was amazing loved every minute of it1 "
" Best one!!! "
" Great book continues the series well. "
" This I think might be the best book in the series so far. I loved how I got to know who the man in black was, FINALLY. I also loved how I got more background knowledge of the 4 Cahill branches not including the Madrigals. I think I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery since the characters in the book has to figure out so many clues. "
" Loved this book!!!! It was amazing!! one of the best so far!!! :D I love this series!!! :D "
" This book restored my faith in the series because it made me feel something emotionally for the characters, finally. Still not great, but it made my heart ache so at least I cared enough to give it that. "
" Poor dude drowned... Definately considered a "Good Read!" (pun intended) "
" This book was really good. It had a lot of suprises involve. It had so much action and some intresting places they visit that you want to keep reading. "
" Another good entry in the series. "
" I loved solving the puzzles with amy and dan! this was a good read! "
" Again predictable, but extra action packed. "
" Another good book in the series. It was gutsy to kill someone off too. I am looking forward to reading how Amy and Dan will do with the new task given to them. "
" I can't believe this series is coming to an end--I mean, it's called The 39 Clues. Wouldn't you think there would be 39 books? Well, you would be wrong. But this one was a sweet adventure in the Bahamas and Jamaica--Amy and Dan are related to the pirate Anne Bonny, so that's pretty cool. "
" So, incredible twist. Loved it. "
" I was about to give this a 4/5 rating but I cried like four freaking times all throughout reading this book! Nellie. Amy. Dan. MC. Miss Alice. Lester. Ugh so many feels. So much revelations and relationships being broken and restored. Plus, they went to the Caribbean. How cool is that? "
" This book is really good. It's not my favorite in the series but it it still was great to read. "
" Twists and turns....this one is a page turner!!! I can't wait for book 10 on August 31st! "
" I'm begining to become annoyed with these kids/nanny/cat/clues. I wish someone would fund my world trip to look for clues. I know it's a kids book, we can't expect too much but I think the plot changes with each new book/author. I do have to see it through to the end though, wish me luck "
" Aha! I knew it. "
" Great read. This book explained about the family. Interesting treasure hunt. "
" This series - though written for teens, is very well written and engaging... Once you start reading, it is very hard to put down... Written in the Cliffhanger style... "
" Children's series fiction;adventure/mystery. Linda Sue Park's contribution provides a vivid setting, great historical details (pirates!), and plenty of adventure to satisfy young readers. This is also the book in which the identity and motives of the man in black (now dressed in gray) are revealed. "
" One of the better written books in the series. Its all starting to come together. I'm excited to see how it ends. "
" Wow, it's almost over and I can taste the anticipation. This series has been exciting all the way through, though I'm pretty sure I could predict the ending with a broad sense of accuracy. "
" My favorite 39 Clues book. "
" I think that book nine wasone of my favourite in the series! "
" A lot of information is revealed in this installment of the 39 Clues. Finally found out about Nellie, as well as Dan and Amy's past! I can't believe the series is almost over! "
" One thing this series has over most other teen/kid series like this is that it is really good about tying up loose ends. I truly feel like it is heading for a conclusion and I am so excited about reading the last book in the first ten books. I really enjoyed this volume. "
" It is close to the end! "
" 2.5 starsThe switching authors continues to throw me off when characters seem so different each time. Thought this one was overall rather uneventful for all that was happening and when you have cutthroats and murderers and world-ending missions, it should NOT be boring. Alas. "
" Ok, clue hunt is nearly over and Amy, Dan and even Nellie belong to the Madrigals now. The secret about the ingredients is revealed. What now? They can do that, seriously! I expected 39 books, one clue per book.. "
" I had finished it! So great! Madrigals!!!! "
" Down in the Bahamas, what could go wrong? Oh...right, the Kabras... "
" Amazing! You finally find out who the man in black is!! AND other great information!! I love these books! "
