" The last time I read this book in whole was two years ago; I first read it when it came out in 1997 or so. It is one of those books, like the Tao Te Ching, that one comes back to and again. Thich Nhat Hanh's delineation of the various types of love and their best manifestations, anecdotes and meditations on how to truly be in a place of love, practicing love that is compassionate, in tune with our inner selves, non-injurious to others and compassionate towards our ancestors and the earth are inspiring and buoying. "
