    " This one kind of went no where for a while, then got interesting in the second half, and then ended on a abrupt cliffhanger, which annoyed me. Even books that are part of a series can at least wrap things up a little instead of ending in the middle of an interesting part. "

Karen Brooks, the author of nine novels, is an academic, a newspaper columnist, and social commentator, who has appeared regularly on national television and radio. She has a PhD in English and cultural studies. Before turning to academia, she was an army officer and dabbled in acting.

About Eloise Oxer

Eloise Oxer completed her acting training at NIDA and, since her critically acclaimed debut in The Sydney Theatre Company’s production of The Glass Menagerie, continues to feature on Australian stage and screen. She has worked with STC, MTC, and numerous independent companies both locally and interstate. Her screen credits include feature film Hunt Angels, The Cut, My Place, All Saints, and Offspring. With training in classical voice, and countless jazz and cabaret features, Eloise is a dynamic voice artist.
