"Wow! My first book by Linda Howard. I picked this with its three shorts to get a taste for the author. While some was far fetched, overall they were very good stories. She has now been added to my list of authors. "

" It is 3 stories. The first on is just ok and the second one is better and the 3rd was awesome. I love the twist at the end. The narrator was pretty good too. "

" Ugh, worst book ever. This might be my fault though. I picked this out because I saw Linda Howard's name on it. I did not know it was a collection of crappy short stories from the 90's jammed together in a horrible book. The female characters are so weak they needed crutches to stand on their own. It was awful! I might have been a kid in the 90's but I don't remember woman being that needy. At least the ones in my life were able to stand on their own. These stories should have been set in the 50's to make them believable. "

" Quick and fun. The only thing that I don't like about shorts in general is that you don't get enough time to get to know the characters very well. Howard still does a good job w/these three shorts but I kind of wanted more... a chance to get to know them better, learn more about them etc. "

" three short stories about strangers who fall in love. They were well written and the stories were good but im not a fan of a love story just for the sake of it. I didn't like the fact that within hours these people "loved" each other. Im a huge fan of character development and there was none. "

" 3 stories, low on story and high on sex. The little stories there were, were good, but not much to read but sex. I enjoy her books, the stories are good, but these are overpowered by the amount of sex. How many ways can you write sex? Lots of ways I guess. "

" So far - this is a silly book... Very harlquin romance short stories!!! But, I'll finish.. Well, I finished and it was 3 short stories.... There was one story that I would liked to have her write a true novel about... But - so far this Linda Howard wasn't my fave! "
