Publisher Description

I pay strangers to sleep with me. I have my reasons....But they're not the ones you'd expect. For starters, I'm a funeral director taking over my dad's business. Not exactly the kind of person you'd expect to fork over cash for the lust and urgency only live skin-to-skin contact can create. Looking at me, you wouldn't have a clue I carry this little secret so close it creases up like the folds of a fan. Tight. Personal. Ready to unravel in the heat of the moment. Unsurprisingly, my line of work brings me face-to-face with loss.

So I decided long ago that paying for sex would be one of the best (and arousing) ways to save myself from the one thing that would eventually cut far too deep. But Sam was a mistake. Literally. I signed on to pick up a stranger at a bar, but took Sam home instead. And now that I've felt his heat, his sweat and everything else, can I really go back to impersonal? Let's just hope he never finds out about my other life.

"Very unique story! Grace inherits her father's funeral home business & feels like paying for male escorts saves her the trouble of having to explain her creepy profession. But it goes deeper than that - she doesn't want a serious commitment since she sees how devastating it is when a spouse dies. One night she mistakes Sam for one of her male escorts & has the most wonderful night of her life! A little love triangle builds as she realizes her mistake & even though she can't stop thinking about Sam, she continues to pursue a new male escort, Jack, who sounds incredibly hot with his piercings & wild side. It is clear that Jack would like to be more than an escort, and Sam would like to be more serious with Grace as well. Sam has issues as well since he just lost his father & they had not made amends before he passed. Once Grace's secret is discovered her relationship with Sam falls apart & at the time she can no longer afford the male escort service. Being apart from Sam makes her realize her true feelings & she finds she can't pass up the opportunity at love just because she is afraid of what the future might hold. Left me wanting more actually!"

" I loved both characters and was rooting that they would finally get it together. I love the fact that their relationship wasn't easy. This was one of my favorite books by Megan Hart. I read it in one night. I love the fact that all of Megan Hart's characters are flawed and realistically so. The heroine is so afraid of being controlled by men that instead of having real relationships she buys them. Then in a case of mistaken identity she meets a guy who changes her mind. She fights her feelings for the hero throughout the whole story and tries to stay in her comfort zone but in the end love, real love not the sappy romance book kind, wins out. "

" This one was good.. Never have I read a book that shows how it is for a woman to get a "gentleman" before and I liked it.. and LOVED that it was Jack!! and that we got to see Dan from the first book too! and everything she feels I could totally understand because of her job.. it was good I enjoyed it!! " I really, really liked this! Grace is a funeral director and she doesn't want a relationship. Watching clients go through grief each day convinces her she doesn't want that loss, so she doesn't let anyone get close. She hires escorts through a service for dates and release. All seems to be going smoothly, until she meets Sam. Their attraction is immediate and she takes him to bed. It's not until after she's left him that she finds out he wasn't her paid 'stranger' date. When they meet again under surprising circumstances Sam begins to pursue Grace. I really, really liked Sam, but I also really liked Jack. I understood Grace as a character and enjoyed her story. This was a great read. "
