Publisher Description

Lori had always planned to get out of tiny Tumble Creek, Colorado, but when her late dad left her his beloved auto body shop, she'd stayed. Now, according to her crazy best friend, Molly, what Lori needs is some excitement, in the form of hot, no-strings-attached sex...and lots of it.

Quinn Jennings has buildings on the brain - not love and romance. A serious architect, he's delighted to discover that Lori is willing to skip dating protocols and head straight for the sheets. And aided by the steamy books on Lori's bedside table, he's busy indulging both of their wildest fantasies.

But when life in Tumble Creek takes a dangerous turn for Lori, Quinn's protective instincts kick in. Suddenly, he cares - more than either of them ever expected...

"After Talk Me Down, I knew I would be reading more Victoria Dahl. This time around the focus is on Lori Love, the local garage owner and best friend of Molly Jennings. This time the sex was hotter, the characters more likable, and the mystery more real. I even had a few laugh out loud moments. In other words, there wasn't much I didn't like about this one. I even loved Lori's acerbic retorts as those are what I'm used to hearing from several people I know. I recommend this one, but it should be read after Talk Me Down."

" Semangat baca, karna Tumble creek 1..buaguuuus banget, ekpetasi udh setinggi langit sama buku kedua ini, dari buku 1 udh diceritain sang mekanik tomboy yang hidup sendiri, dan Quinn (namanya buat melting :p) sang jenius arsitek, kutu buku, ngk bisa multitasking (wakakaka). oke mulanya males dan keciwa pas endingnya kurang greget. sampe niatnya mau kasih bintang 2 ...hiks hiks. But suka sama si jenius yang ngk bisa multitasking (ow .. ow) bintang 3 deh... "

" The first book was great. This book was very slow to get started and the ending was very disappointing. Lori never came to life for me and it was a little hard to feel the connection between her and Quinn. Lori never gave off a feeling of wanting to be more feminine but yet she tried and it seemed it was a failure. I liked Lori's character much more in the first book then I did in the book that was about her. Wasn't happy for anybody in the end, just one of those books that you read and move on. Nothing memorable happened. Vey blah really! "

" I think it dragged a bit towards the end. I really enjoyed the first part though. I could so see myself in Lori - how she imagines stuff based on her books. I do that, too. LOL. And I think I will never forget Quinn's Spanish for the rest of my life XD "

" Lori and Quinn was a good story to read. I like the fact that these heroines are very complicated characters with baggage to sort through and have a partner to help them along. The mystery and sex just add more to it and overall a good read. "

About Victoria Dahl

Victoria Dahl lives with her family in a small town high in the Utah mountains. During the summer she hikes and drinks margaritas (usually not at the same time). During the winter she likes to curl up with a book and a cup of hot cocoa and think about all those poor, freezing skiers working so hard out in the snow.
