" For the fans of Star Wars who enjoy any Star Wars based stories - not just the very first movies - this is a great little story. It's not by any means a huge, gripping novel. But I enjoyed it. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Walt | 1/26/2014

" The plot was well-developed; possibly too complex with so many different characters doing different things. Nevertheless it was predictable. The writing and dialogue were excellent. The history of the Millennium Falcon was certainly interesting too. "

" I didn't understand why so many people rated this story so low. I quite enjoyed it. After all the tradgedy and sorrow the Solo family has been through, this lighthearted journey really speaks of family to me, and Allana is so sweet and precious. Also, I dug the construction of the story- one captain starting at the beginning moving forward and another captain starting at the present moving backwards, both learning the history of the Falcon. It is a nice transition piece that leads us into the Fate of the Jedi series. I think the real message of this story is "family." The only part that was a letdown for me was the final revelation of the treasure everyone was after. "

" A sucker for any Star Wars book about Han and Leia, I really enjoyed this book. It was the story of Han's ship, the Millennium Falcon, and all it had been through before Han got it. He and Leia are taking care of their grandaughter, Allana, and she convinces them to go on an adventure to discover the ships past. Very fun read. "

" Completely geeked-out over this book. A bunch fun for me. Hated the ending, or "treasure." Not worthy of all the cool ship history. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Gene | 1/23/2011

" The story of the Millenium Falcon, presented in many pieces (and in the context of a minor adventure), with the various owners and operators telling the ship's story as others try to track down the ship's history. An enjoyable read if you like this sort of thing. Personally, I do. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Bryan | 4/28/2010

" I thought this was an entertaining Star Wars book. The book was about Han Solo trying to find the history of the Falcon. I liked how James intertwined the history of the Falcon into the story.

Don't read this book unless you've finished the Legacy of the Force series! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Wesley | 4/3/2010

" It wasn't a bad story. Kind of a change of pace. The ending was well built up, but the delivery at the end was a huge let down (and that is being nice...it was downright stupid). Lost a star because of that, but as far as Star Wars books go, it's on the better side of average. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Leo | 3/27/2010

" It was a look at the history of the Millennium Falcon, as Han, Leia and Allana seek to find where it came from, but the story was kind of toned down and the wrap up was a little hurried. Not a great read, but ok for killing some time. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 John | 2/1/2010

" The story was quite intriguing. Nice storyline, nice build-up ... but a disappoiting ending though.

Oh, after reading the book, I find the "synopsis" at the back cover "misleading" somewhat. "
