Publisher Description

Fighting alongside the Corellian rebels, Han and Leia are locked in a war against their son, Jacen, who grows more powerful and more dangerous with each passing day. Nothing can stop Jacen's determination to bring peace with a glorious Galactic Alliance victory - whatever the price.

While Luke grieves the loss of his beloved wife and deals with the guilt over killing the wrong person in retaliation, Jaina, Jag, and Zekk hunt for the real assassin, unaware that the culprit commands Sith powers that can cloud their minds and misdirect their attacks - and even turn them back on themselves.

As Luke and Ben Skywalker struggle to find their place among the chaos, Jacen, shunned by friends and family, launches an invasion to rescue the only person still loyal to him. But with the battle raging on, and the galaxy growing more turbulent and riotous, there's no question that it is Jacen who is most wanted - dead or alive.

"I've really enjoyed this series so far, and 'Fury' is no exception. The plot moved forward more in this one with more and more being revealed to the primary characters. This one does give the pacing and feeling that it is heading towards the climax with decisions being made on both sides that will change the galaxy forever. It's good that it's all coming together even if it does reflect the prequel films quite a lot, and it was nice to see more of Wedge and Tycho after not having featured them much for a few books now."

" The jockying for power between different factions is a trade mark to many Star Wars books. However, by this point, there are only the GAC and the separatists - who are pretty much ignored after the first few books. The result is that it is surprisingly predictable what is going to happen. "

" Having come to terms, by now, with the events of the previous books, I have to say that the five stars is mostly in comparison with what came before. I feel that the series picks up here, and having fully transitioned my compassion for Jacen Solo into full blown out irritation with his continued existence I am willing to go to the end. Nice and action packed, with some excellent one liners and descriptions. "

" The seventh book in the Legacy of the Force series, this was a pretty good story, although it feels like the plot of the series didn't advance much. Darth Caedus is consolidating his power and is more overt in his use of force and the Force to have his way. The Jedi have finally begun to work together to combat Caedus and spend the novel probing his defences and capabilities. One thing I found odd was Caedus's attachment to his daughter (who doesn't know that he's her father). For a Sith, this sort of sentiment seems out of place. The writing is solid and well-crafted. "

" THis was pretty good, well writien and put together story. Not as much of the humor Aaron usually puts in his books (tha I have read) but a must ll the same. The humor would have been harder, with this story taking place in such darker times. I can't wait for him to write another one. "

" The continuing Legacy of the Force series. Jacen's slide toward darkness seems to be getting less and less believable as the series progresses, alas. Still an entertaining bit of brain candy, but I'm about to the point where I'm continuing with the series out of a sense of obligation. "
