" Great read. Never thought I would like the main character after something borrowed, but author did a rear job telling her side. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Apple | 2/8/2014

" I wasn't a big fan of Darcy in Something Borrowed. But I began to understand where she was coming from in this sequel. Emily Griffin did a great job coming up with these two novels, which showcased the story from different point of views of the main characters. It's always better to get to know both sides of the story. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Theresa | 2/7/2014

" I loved this book. It's like candy. Particularly fun to read if you remember Something Borrowed to some degree - same characters, lots of antics. A great beach read! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Susan Dalley | 2/2/2014

" I really liked this. Darcy is such an awful person (in Something Borrowed) that I wasn't sure I wanted to read a whole book about her. Somehow, her arc really felt real. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Diana Paperno | 1/26/2014

" I liked how the story was from Darcy's point of view! Good easy read! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Lysa | 1/19/2014

" A very good read from start to finish. Though I didn't really like Darcy at first, this book made me appreciate her character more. The story shows that even the most immature person can change if they are really determined to, just like Darcy. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Mila | 1/18/2014

" Typical chick lit. Very predictable but was a perfect audiobook to get me through a 10 hour drive. It was like listening to a fun romantic comedy. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Sharon | 1/17/2014

" The first half of this book was very difficult to get through. I lot of whiny by a very selfish woman was very irritating. The second half of the book was much better. A light easy read if you can stick it out through the first half. I found other books by this author much better. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Judy Duncan | 1/6/2014

" It was a bit slow in the beginning and I really didn't like Darceys character at all. I couldn't put the second half of the book down and even shed a few tears. Great chick lit. Preferred this book to the first one. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Shannon | 12/27/2013

" I couldn't get in to it. I need at least one reason to be on the protagonist's side. I couldn't stand Darcy. Hopefully she redeems herself at the end of the book... I'll never know! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Bonnie | 5/20/2011

" Get sequel to the first book. I was excited to read more about Rachel and Darcy's lives. The ending is somewhat predictable but definitely what I wanted so that way alright by me. Really looking forward to watching the movie. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Brandy | 5/20/2011

" LOVED it!! I liked it more than "Something Borrowed" and am surprised I did. Darcy was *so* unlikeable and she had me crying by the end of this book so happy for her!! Hoping, HOPING there's going to be a "Rachel and Darcy #3, although it doesn't sound as if there is... "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Stephanie | 5/18/2011

" I was surprised how much I was interested in Darcy's story. She became a really endearing character, which was interesting given the fact that I hated her so much in Something Borrowed. I am still very much a Dex-Rachel fan though--sorry, Darce. Worth a read if you liked Something Borrowed. "
