" There was not alot to this book. It was a fast read and just when it felt like it was getting started it was over. It was a good book though. "

" This book was a little slow starting out for me. It did get better and I would have rated it a little higher, but I didn't always care for the behavior of the hero, Cash, who was a womanizer and chases after everything in a skirt. I did like Schyler who came home to a father she wasn't sure was going to live. Schyler slowly started to realize just how much things changed in the 6 years since she left home. As she tries to help her family she discovers family and community secrets that will affect the rest of her life, each small secret leads to a bigger one, each one rocking her own foundation along the way. Along the way Schyler does the right thing time and again, getting all that she wants in the end. "

" You can definitely tell this was an early Sandra Brown book. The plot twists were easily figured out and the characters weren't developed very much. It was still a decent book to listen to on my way to and from work though. It held my interest and I liked it, but I've definitely read better books by the same author. "

" This is one of my favorite bad boy books! If you can find it on audio and have a long drive ahead of you, this is just steamy goodness. Cash is the definition of the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks! "

" OMG, Sandra Brown quickly became one of my favorite authors after reading just a couple of her books. But Slow Heat in Heaven...... one of my fave books EVER!! I am in LOVE with Cash Boudreaux. I felt like crying when I was finished..... just because it was over! "

" Probably my favorite Sandra Brown book to date. I read the paperback version 3 times between 1993 and 2000. I snapped up the Kindle version the day it was released and reading it again after 13 years...I STILL love it! "

" This book was an utterly hateful book. It should not be classed as a romance. In no particualr order, the book had animal abuse, very unsettling racial views, misogyny, and extremely unlikeable protagonists. iCouldn't with this book. I really couldn't. "
-

Christine | 4/27/2011
" I was pulled back and forth in this book. Cash and Schyler were both a bunch of brats and I wanted to smack them up along side the head. I have enjoyed other books that Sandra Brown has written but this one seemed like someone else helped to write it. It was lacking all around. "
-

" Longest, worst Sandra Brown book I've ever read. Only made it through a quarter of it and then skimmed and read the end.
"

" In one word: STEAMY. A good escapist book but be prepared for some pretty steamy love scenes. I was caught off guard after already having read Victoria Holt who is relatively mild.
