"This book left me wanting more! Not only are the characters hilarious, but you sort of grow to love them and are genuinely upset when something happens to them. Not to foreshadow anything. The cliffhanger ending was annoying but well played, seeing as you immediately want to move onto the next one. That's exactly what I am going to do. Loved it!"

" Another fun entry in the Skulduggery series. Funny, scary, witty and exciting with a cliffhanger that will make you want to jump headlong into book 4. I find myself savoring each book in this series and regretting that I'm now one book closer to running out of Skuldiggery books to read. "

" Kurang terkesan dengan Stephanie ataupun Skulduggery. Malah jatuh hati sama Tanith Low. Sempat terbosan-bosan di seperempat bagian awal buku, tapi menjelang pertengahan lumayan sih. Baru tau juga kalau ternyata Skulduggery Pleasant ini serial, tapi rasanya nggak yakin mau baca kelanjutannya. "

About Derek Landy

Derek Landy is far too modest to talk about any accolades his books may have garnered. He will not, for instance, mention that his first book, Skulduggery Pleasant: Scepter of the Ancients, was named a Best Book for Young Adults by the American Library Association, or that it appeared on Oprah’s Book Club Kids Reading List, or that it was indeed a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year. Similarly, he gets downright embarrassed when he has to admit to the awards won by the follow-up Skulduggery novels: Playing with Fire and The Faceless Ones. It’s simply all too much for a simple lad from Ireland. Derek lives in Dublin with a variety of cats, a German Shepherd, and two arthritic Bull Terriers who keep peeing on his floor because they think it’s funny.
