Publisher Description

William Drake's living an ordinary life - he has a job, a dog, and a house near Lake Superior - when a frantic call for help from his ne'er-do-well sister, Katrina, throws a big rancher-shaped kink in the works. Proving that no good deed goes unpunished, Will's arrival at the Montana ranch belonging to Katrina's fiancé, Martin, is marked by a flat tire and unexpected help from a tall, dark, and handsome Good Samaritan. The stranger turns out to be Elijah Hunter, Martin's brother - the most unsettling man Will has ever met. Eli's fury over Katrina's misdeeds boils over onto Will, and he demands that Will remain on the ranch until the matter is resolved.

While Will can take Katrina's place, Eli doesn't make it easy. He tests Will at every turn, but Will's uncompromising morals exceed even Eli's exacting standards. The attraction growing between them is further complicated by Eli's ultimatum: he's still holding Katrina to the pre-nup she signed ... unless Will agrees to marry Eli instead.

"I really loved this book. Loved both Will and Eli. And yeah, maybe as others had said this seems more like a Harlequin novel than a m/m novel, but I still loved it a lot -and maybe the reason it's 'cause I also like Harlequin novels. XD"

" I liked this book. Will never stood a chance against Elijah's determined, if sometimes misguided, wooing. "

" I hate to give 1* reviews, but wow, this book was bad. Like other reviewers have pointed out, it read like an m/m Harlequin. Ugh! The dialogue was cheesy and the storyline unrealistic. Two reasons I did not DNF this story: I was reading it for a challenge and it was a loan (which I hated to waste). "

" 2.5 This wasn't a bad read, but nothing made the characters (much less the story) come alive. It would've been improved by coming up with a more believable scenario for William's agreeing to the whole stupid arrangement in the first place. "

" Throwback to harlequinn bodice rippers. If you liked those, you will love this book. I definitely enjoyed it. "
